Septuagenarian boy


Well what about this weather its been gorgeous here. So much so started spring cleaning the conservatory. Tonight I have another biggie birthday card one I did for my brother in law's birthday which was on Saturday. Hope you like it!




Items used

A4 sheet of Kraft card - stash
Backing paper - stash
Distressed with Tim Holtz Inks -Old Paper
Stamped with Visible Image - Ink Splats
Other Stamps used on backing paper free from magazine
Age - stamped with Papermania stamps and
aged then stamped with Visible Image background stamps
Pieces of newspaper torn distressed and then sprayed with water and scrunched up
Verses from Internet and cut out with Spellbinders die then distressed and stamped with 
Visible Image - Ink Splats
Metal corners - Stamp Pad

  6. Aww thank you so much Lisa. The birds relate to him being with the RSPB and the scrunched up newspaper relate to the fact his working life was involved in newspapers as photographer/reporter. Xxx

  10. Good luck with your spring cleaning.....I start clearing out, get sidetracked then end up with a bigger mess than when I started :-( Anyway, this is a fab card, there's so much to look at....bet your bro-in-law loved it! xx

    1. Haha! We finished the conservatory then I started on the desk in the dining room n got distracted! I hate the dining room doors they have glass in them so I see the mess everytime I go passed. Still not done it n I've got another spring cleaning mess in the craft room, invoices everywhere waiting to be filed, lol. I gave up and made a card instead! Thank you for your lovely comment Barbara he loved it. I've just ordered a box of mixed card from PD n there is some Buff card in it, it was brilliant on those samples you did. xxx
